A Brief History
- April 1, 1970—three men sat at a kitchen table and dreamed of building a business that would utilize their expertise in radio and television production, cinematography and sales.
- Thirty-five days later papers are signed, fees paid and a new corporation, Film Production Associates, is born.
- Through four decades of hard work, tough decisions and a commitment to serving its clients, FPA has grown and evolved into Vipdubs Duplication and Media Services, a well-known and highly regarded full-service company with fast turnaround, meticulous attention to detail and industry competitive prices.

E.C. received his BA from UW-Madison in Radio TV & Film in 1978. He has over 35 years of experience in professional sales and marketing, as well as supply chain and operations management. After five years as international sales director for a global capital equipment manufacturer, E.C. started his own biz-to-biz advertising firm in 1981 in Milwaukee. In 1995, he purchased a bio-technology manufacturing firm and raised annual revenues from $500,000 per year to $14,000,000 in eight years. His company received a State of Wisconsin technology grant in 2003, and the Milwaukee Future 50 award in 2005. In 2008, E.C. purchased Mirror Image Media, Inc., a media transfer company geared to servicing Fortune 500 manufacturers. In Febraury 2010,, Mirror purchased Digital Media Reproductions to augment their offerings.
In July of 2011, he then purchased Video Industrial Products from the original owners. There have been substantial investments made to provide VIP Dubs, Inc. with the tools and technology to stay abreast of current market needs, and beyond.

Suzanne has over thirty years experience in a variety of industries and in all aspects of accounting and finance, including payroll, accounts payable & receivable, preparation of monthly P&L statements, etc. She also has a background in and handles much of our customer service work, just as proficiently.

Charles relocated here after seventeen years in Chicago, where he had earned a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. He’s also an alumnus of both The Second City theater and The Improv Olympic theater. Charles came on board to manage the packaging and shipping department and to create labels, while continuing his education by taking several classes at Madison Media Institute. He now manages the Digital Media Authoring & Assembly department, and is proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Director, Dreamweaver, Sony Vegas and DVD Architect.

After a couple of years working in the “real world,” Dain went back to school to study at Madison Media Institute. He graduated from MMI with a degree in music and recording in May of 2002. Dain, who was state karate champ as a senior in high school, is now a highly skilled, completely dependable duplication technician.
